"If you're truly looking for a taste of Chicago, Viand Bard and Kitchen's heavy emphasis on locally sourced items makes it an easy choice. Executive chef Tyler Nelson changes the menu with the seasons so he can continue to work with local vendors and farms, as well as cater to a predominantly gluten-free menu with a good mix of vegetarian dishes. The Kentucky Mule with Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon is perfectly light for the (hopefully) warm weather, and the pork belly and grits is not to be missed. The menu is made for groups and boasts lots of weekday special, so this is the spot if you're in town on business or a friendly gathering."

"Nice parings, excellent cheeses. They brine all their own meats, so proteins are beautiful. The beet salad is a really delicious combination, try it!! The bbq was awesome! Everything was artistically plated. Nice little find!" – Yelp; Abbie W. Philadelphia, PA, 4.0 star rating 7/2/2015
"Their house wine is delicious! The service was incredible and the tomato bisque soup was to die for. I arrived just to get a bite and enjoyed the candle lit table and atmosphere. I would definitely come back for any occasion." – Yelp; Chelsea H. Los Gatos, CA, 5.0 star rating 6/25/2015
"Better food than most 4 star full service Marriotts! Chef Taylor and staff served business travelers and locals surprisingly-custom appetizers and trendy cocktails in a hoppin' Thursday night Bistro atmosphere. The Bistro would make me want to stay at that Courtyard rather than the other way around. A short cab ride from the Loop and Arts District. Friendly staff, too!" – Trip Advisor; Barbbee101, Broomfield, Colorado. 4 of 5 stars, reviewed 3/12/15

"Excellent place for small group celebration. Our children treated us for our 40th anniversary to this place. It was walking distance to our show at Navy Pier. Four people in our group and we all loved our dinner. The appetizers are fabulous and their staff are young and friendly. Very clean, decorated well, nice ambience and just the right space. Next to Starbucks!" Lolaphat - dined on 8/30/2013
